Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox had studied for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other paths she could take. Lennox was a flute player in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. However, she left shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. She was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo debut album Diva. It was released in 1993. The album received a lot of praise both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to her art work created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox, along with Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992, by releasing the album Diva. It included a number of popular songs including walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks such asNo MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with six studio albums solo and one compilation.
